How many back doors, do you expect? At least one for each place a person entered, if there is indeed a way back for all.

Is it truth, or is it wishful thinking? I couldn't claim to know, myself.

I imagine most people were expecting the doors to lead back to wherever they came from. Alas, that certainly seems not to be the case.
