One of the most depressing things about getting older is that the stuff you want gets more expensive. I remember when it was all about shoes, perfume, and DVDs, and now I'm like, "oh god, I really want that awesome coffee  table I saw at ABC Carpets." Admittedly, I still like shoes and perfume (and DVDs), but mostly I dream about home-wares,
