Define success? Who says you haven't succeeded? You had the smallest part in the play, the chances of you being nominated were slim more because of your lack of stage time than your acting ability. But look at the frequency with which you've been cast. You are obviously good at what you do. GTC is bull. I've never been passed on their either. In fact, you scored higher than I did.

I'm not saying don't have a back up plan. But don't give up before you've even tried. You're going to graduate with twice the resume I've got. And that's what matters, or it should be. Not how many awards you've one, but how often people who know your skill have entrusted you with their productions. Dimly was cast by professional, not by a professor who may or may not being playing favorites. There were only six parts and you got one of them. You're too willing to focus on what you haven't accomplished rather on what you have.

Nor do I know who was. But it's your confidence in yourself that matters. You can't just listen to the people who doubt you. You also have to listen to the people who believe in you.
