#4 made me squee *irrationally*.

#3 -- awww. Batman needs a Flamebird! And Dick *knows* his daddies.

#2 is *beautiful* Impulse voice.

And #1 -- *ack.* *ack.* YES. And *ACK.*

Welcome to the fandom! I'm going to go tell everyone I know to leave you feedback. :)

Thinking about Faith in Gotham invariably makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. And very amused.

I particularly liked the thought of making Bruce have to choose between a Super-Robin and the risk of watching Clark cry, though.

#2 is *beautiful* Impulse voice.
Thank you! And thanks for the rec! I've had more contact with DC fans in the past hour than I ever have outside of a comic book store. :D

Your icon pleases me no end.

I know Bruce will avoid making Clark cry, but I'm not sure Clark would omit using his powers to hide any sniffles.

I enjoy recommending things that give me joy and then watching other people love them, too, so you're very welcome.

Thank *goodness* I am not the only one who has had that first thought, although you pull it off better than I did in chat.

Ahahahahahahahaha, Bart is the CUTEST ROBIN EVER.

... Is CK Clark Kent? Because I kinda desperately want to see Superman in Dick's old panties uniform now, and I blame you.

Oooh, is that Buffy? I was never in that fandom, but I am snickering regardless.

(Someday, I will expand on the Ravager-as-Robin drabble I wrote, because that's another one that would make Batman give up on this sidekick business.)

(Of course, *Conner* Kent would fit those panties equally well, and... okay, now I'm busily plugging in CKs and giggling maniacally.)

Bart would make a better Robin than Robin! Loud and bright and distracting at the speed of light. His very existence in the universe ought to halve Batman's grimness.

I seriously want to see Slade & Superman in the Robin panties, too. (Mostly I'm kind of mean to grown men.) Although Kon would work as well, especially if he's the Kon who wears a bodysuit, rather than the Kon who wears a t-shirt and jeans. :D

Number 3's not Buffy, but Faith: the hot & naughty Slayer. :D My ridiculous-plot-bunny-that-I-will-never-write in this fandom is where Steph lives to kick ass as Faith.

That would be awesome to read! Do you have a link to the drabble?

He *would*. &heart;

Mwahahahahahahahahaha! Man. I just... I have a meta-y Thing being edited for posting about why Slade actually fits the Even-Numbered Robin template pretty well. Someday I will write Slade being a Robin.

Possibly I'm just a little bit obsessive. Also, if I should happen to have a more coherent bunny for the sequel wherein Slade shows up in Gotham and tells Batman about this whole Robin Thing, may I write it?

Oooooh, rock! (Totally write the Steph story!)

Here, along with four other Robins-who-never-were, one of whom is Bart.

GOODNESS GRACIOUS, GREAT BALLS OF SPANKY-PANTED FIRE.

1 sent chills up my spine, 2 made me go :D and D: in equal measure, though the latter is more the fault of canon than the fault of the snippet, which is PURE JOY.

3 made me go AWWW. Dick knows his dads too well!

4 is - is - OMG YAY.

I think I shall friend you! :D

I am trying to come to terms with current Bart canon in small bites, interspersed with Impulse back-issues. I should be reconciled by 2008, unless they pull a Gotham and make his life even more miserable.

Dick makes passive-aggressive emotional manipulation look good. ;)

Thanks for the comment! I've friended you as well.

Much MUCH love for 2. And I'm agreeing and repeating Bart is the CUTEST ROBIN EVER. Now I want more of it and I blame you.

Squeeing over Bart aside, this fic was a little bit of brilliant. (Actually there's been so much brilliant fic floating around today that I'm sure my brain is fried from over exposure.) The voices though, that's what kills me in this story. Spot on. Just spot on.

I'm hoping to see more DCU fic from you (OMGPLEASE?!?). So, I'm friending, because you are officially just that great.

:D! I would be over the moon if there were more Bart-Robin. Bart is the sweetest kid. (And it's not like Wally would've missed him, sidekick-wise!) He would be absolutely terrifying after Batman was done with him, though.

Thank you; I'm glad the voices worked. I'll have to go digging around communities today to check out what else's been going on, too.

I'm a huge flake, especially when it comes to fic, but I hope I can write lots more. :) I like this fandom.

(No, he wouldn't. We could just steal him, and tell him to do it, because you know he would.) But imagine how long it would take to get to the terrifying stage. I almost feel sorry for Bruce, but then I keep thinking it would be a fitting punishment.

I don't think there's anyone that can't like this fandom. There's so much pure craziness it's almost like the entire thing is made up of fanon.

Hey, wait, Bart's a quick learner! He'd totally get it inside of a decade! Luckily for Batman's image, that would still let Bart leave Robin before he hits 18.

I'm sad that there's not more done with zombies and time travel, though. I mean, sure, AUs where Guy & Hal are Nazis are cool, but where are the issues where baby Dick gets to meet Red Hood and Spoiler and rescue Impulse from the tedium of Keystone to fight a major war with the undead?

Thank you!

Also, you wrote that Faith/Jason story! I was so beyond pleased to find that I wasn't the only one who was thinking serious thoughts about Faith & Red Hood.
