Character: Tifa Lockhart
Series: Final Fantasy VII/Dissidia 012 duodecim
Faction: Cosmos
History:
So there's this long story... and
and this story here.
Personality:
Tifa is a sweetheart. She's a woman who values her friends and means everything she does. She gets a kick out of helping others and lending a hand. She's a
smart girl, who can hold her own in any situation. At times, she can even be a bit cheeky towards her friends. She always means well though. She's also a girl
shaped by her past, mainly through the death of her parents and the destruction of her hometown, Nibelheim.
Tifa, deep down, has a fear of losing all those close to her. She's self-conscious at times, but instead of hiding it by withdrawing from her life and everyone, she
hides it by being all the more optimistic. She doesn't do it to be insincere, but it's her way of coping with the unknown and bad situations. She's loyal, almost to a
fault. She pours all of her focus into her friends and family. Family means everything to her. Around Denzel and Marlene, the kids she took in, she's the perfect
mother. She listens to their problems, helps them when they need it. Around her friends, she's very upbeat and relaxed. She's there to lend a hand to them
whenever they need it. She's always there for them.
It's also hard to not notice Tifa. She's got very sizable assets. She doesn't flaunt her body to get things either, but has used it to her advantage in a few
occasions. She thinks nothing of it. Nothing goes farther than flirting.
Her confidence, however, is in her fighting skills. She's a monk-class, and excels in hand to hand combat. She can easily punch a bench apart. She'll never back
away from a fight, especially to protect someone. She would willingly jump to battle to aid her friends. It's not that she doesn't care that she gets hurt, it's so
that others won't. It's her tendency to put others before herself that she often finds herself shouldering the burden of others. She puts her own problems on the
back burner. She'll cheer someone else up even when she's not that happy herself. Her personality is so aptly explained in her last name: Lockhart. She keeps
her true feelings locked away.
Don't underestimate her though. She's a strong-willed person. If there's injustice, she will stand up for what's right. She's gone through a lot in her life, but she's
gotten through it. She'll carry on like a trooper until she just physically can't anymore. For all her talk about saving the Planet from ShinRa, it was all just hatred
fueling it. In her quest for revenge, she did many things that she now deeply regrets. Her actions helped kill a lot of people, and guilt for her actions has settled
in. Her life now is almost an effort to make things right. Denzel's presence reminds her of that every day.
Ultimately, Tifa's drive is to make people happy. It gives her hope that she can at least make someone's day a bit better.
In Duodecim, she's really nearly the same. Because she doesn't have her memories, and she knows she's forgetting something, she relies on the rust of
her friends to get her through everything.
Abilities: Tifa is described as a Feint Brawler. She is an extremely skilled martial artist. As she attacks, she will cancel her current attack and
move behind her enemy, allowing her to attack them by surprise. Feinting allows Tifa to dodge attacks, disrupt her opponent's attempts to block, and her attacks
have a higher chance for critical hits.
Weaknesses: Tifa's weakness is simple - she cares for her friends. Friends are like her family, considering her family is dead. She also holds her
feelings locked within her.

"Have you heard from Cloud?"
Tifa turned from where she was cleaning to look at Yuffie, who was leaning over the bartop. She shook her head. "Mhm. He hasn't found anything."
The ninja princess of Wutai groaned, crossing her arms over her chest. "He ain't gonna make this easy for us, is he?"
Tifa shrugged her shoulders. They were all worried about Vincent. Cloud said that they'd let them know if he had found anything, and she trusted him. Vincent could handle himself, and when he wanted to be found, he'd be found. Yuffie was just being impatient, like she always was. Tifa would never tell Yuffie about this, but she was grateful to have the younger girl around. She was a breath of fresh air, even if they had to watch all of their valuables and materia each time the thieving princess of Wutai was in town.
She'd never say that to Yuffie's face, though. Who knew what kind of ego boost the girl would get. She was cocky enough as it was without the added compliments. Tifa glanced over to Shelke briefly. The newcomer to their little family sat in the corner of the bar near the window. She'd be a welcome addition to their little mismatched family. Marlene and Denzel were already so excited over the prospect of a new sister. Maybe Shelke could get them to sit down and actually finish their school work instead of daydreaming about adventures and epic quests. She had to make a mental note to herself to remind Cloud to tell them no the next time they wanted to hear a story.
Smiling to herself, Tifa picked up another glass that needed to be cleaned, blowing a few strands of hair that fell into her face away. It seemed like today was just another day in Seventh Heaven.
