Officially cant stand my grandmother right now. She JUST arrived Saturday from Iowa and very badly insulted me and Bre that very same day. Mom tells me to get over it but no fucking way in hell am I going to be letting go of this anytime soon.

You,I don't know why I try with her. I guess I hope that one day maybe she'll approve of what I do instead of putting me down for it.She has always so obviously favored the other grandkids....she also hates my mother which could also be a factor.My dad has talked to her about this and told her that she really hurt our feeling but I don't know if any of it actually made any sort of impact on her.Le sigh...and I definately won't be making anything for her anymore.It's a big waste of time and effort I could be spending on people who actually appreciate me and like me for who I am.

I wouldn't make anything else for her if this had happened to me. There is no sense in wasting time and energy on rude people. You may have to deal with her, but don't give her an excuse to mangle your feelings.

I've already made the resolution not to make her anything anymore....also not to tell her anything about school,my life,art or whatever else.If she wants to know anything,she has to ask because I don't plan on being terribly forthcoming with anything.It's not like she really gives a fuck anyways.All she seems to care about are my other cousins who are all either not in college yet or are going for "real degrees".
