Little known fact: West Lafayette was the "Paradise City" in which "the grass is green and the girls are pretty!"
I don't know too too much about what there is to do in West Lafayette, though, outside the trees. There's plenty of decent people at Purdue there, but I'm not sure if hanging out with a bunch of college kids is your idea of a good time.
I used to know a few radicals and anarchists up there, but right now I can't seem to find their contact info. I'll let you know if anything comes up.
It's especially difficult right now because I'm just finishing up a semester overseas, won't be back to Indy until Monday.

I'm from california, and am mightly impressed with all the trees.
I love how the license plates say "In god we trust". That must go over big at car accidents.
