someone once told me that I seemed as if nothing affected me. that things would happen to me, or around me, and that I seemed to just brush it off like nothing, without letting it get to me whatsoever. Alone I stand on my mountaintop, overlooking the valley below with a glazed look in my eyes that can be nothing short of nostalgia. Somewhere down there, mixed into the kailaidescope of picket fences, sqaure lawns, paved roads and Born Again churches, lives a child who answers to the name of Slave. Lately it appears that she has been riding whatever wave comes along that promises escape from a beach of bar windows. Its not that i fear she may drown in her quest, but i wonder when it was she stopped to ask her Master for permission before setting sail. The wind carries with it a certain lust for secrets and gossip, and here i stand trying to fight them off with nothing more than the back of my hand as a weapon. Well it is timeto send out a distress signal, the bat signal if you will. No more of these random one sentence emails. Master commands that you write her back, or giver her a call, and let her knew of your whereabouts. Just because i lost the chain at that gay bar does not mean you are free to wonder. Besides, its lonely up here ( ... )

I remember I had a girlfriend who dumped me because she said that nothing "phased" me. I think that's sort of the same thing you're talking about now.

it is. and I think it's true. nothing seems to really phase me. she broke up with you because of it?? that's a little odd.
