FXIII; Final Day

So I'm going to make this more of a review than my random disjointed thoughts and random lulzy observations. Not a long one, but a short one kind of like I did to XII.

TELL ME MORE. WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END?

IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME. SO YOU GO IN TO FIGHT THE GUY THAT'S BEEN MANIPULATING YOU THE ENTIRE TIME, hoping that killing him will be the end of it. Nope! He merges with the thing you've been saying the entire game you won't kill.

So then you have to kill the thing that will essentially make the End of the World happen.

So cue last cutscene, gravity's flipped out, your group is trying to stay together. But there's Fang and Vanille, way out of reach, sharing one final lesbian moment... before all the enemies in the area just dissolve, and the dissolving thing converges around them... and then there stands Ragnarok - this beast that the bad guy had been trying to summon the entire time to kill the thing you already killed as humans.

So what's happening? Cocoon is falling out of the sky and is going to smash into Gran Pulse.

So what happens then?

Fang/Vanille/Ragnarok goes running down the side of the planet, jumps through the crust (which is lava-y because of reentry heat), swims out the other side and fucking catches the planet as

They are suddenly even more awesome.

That's going right up there on my list of Favorite Ways To Save The World.
