I have a long explanation of why I couldn't get onto lj for a while, it starts with it not being my fault but in the end it is. I'm sorry to all of you but my school and my activism have taken over my life. I just wanted to say goodbye and offer up my heartfelt, but ultimately meaningless apologies for suddenly abandoning you all

Always good to hear from you however brief and however rarely in between. It's always some kind of wonderful to see friends who've grown more into themselves and fly beautifully.

Well, we're not close and I seriously doubt I'm one of the people who "got you through a lot", so what I say might not have as much weight, but let me tell you that I, for one, am proud of you. LJ (or fandom) is fun and all, but in the end it is us clinging to a phantasy world. It's great that you moved on (to use some more cliches) and don't need us (lj, fandom,...) anymore. You've grown up - we who stay not. So.
