Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Jade is short and thin! Part of this scrawniest is from her age, part of it is just her build.

2. How old is she? 13!

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She stands straight, but tends to slouch when sitting.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? She's healthy, though she does suffer from narcolepsy.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? As awkward as any other 13 year old girl. She's pretty comfortable when she moves, though.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Jade is more cute than pretty, and has buck teeth and glasses. She might grow into her features and end up being a knockout, but for now she's got the nerdy adorable thing going on. She probably varies with her self-image - some days she'll think she's pretty and others all she can focus on are her flaws.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? I'm going to say naturally pale, but tanner than John since she lives in the middle of the South Pacific on a tropical island, man.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Her hair is long, black, and wavy. It's sort of messy and she has a few cowlicks, and her bangs are usually swept to the side out of her face.

9. What color are her eyes? A bright, pretty green!

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Def teef!

11. What are her chief tension centers? Uhhhh. Not sure.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? She tends to dress in stereotypically feminine clothing; she never wears pants. Her skirts and sleeves are usually long, and she loves to wear blue. She usually wears sneakers or flats.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? They fit pretty well!

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Uhhh n/a?

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Okay honestly my first thought was Willow, buuut younger obviously.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Soft, a bit quickly. I think she tends to hesitate on some words.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nope!

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? English.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope!

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She can certainly ramble, but she tends to hesitate a bit when doing so.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Um... She's pretty eloquent for a kid her age, but she's much less so than Dave or Rose.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? She is actually ridiculously intelligent. She's into nuclear physics, for god's sake.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She's used to having things mapped out for her in her visions, so when something unexpected happens, she can hesitate to act.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Oh man. Jade's head is in the clouds all the time. She can be logical, but tends to be more intuitive and idealistic.

4. What kind of education has the character had? Um. Self-taught, I'd assume.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? She's interested in nuclear physics, mechanics, and a bunch of other ridiculous things for a thirteen-year-old girl.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert!

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? She's pretty even-tempered. When faced with something that upsets her or makes her angry, she tends to force her feelings down or ignore them. When that fails, she snaps and has quite a temper.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
She's very enthusiastic and welcoming! She'll do her best to make people feel welcome, and is very trusting.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? React.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Flight! She can fight, but prefers not to.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? She has a childish, kind of lame sense of humor. Sort of like her brother.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Nope! I wouldn't be surprised if they all end up with PTSD by the end of this game though, man.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? The death of her grandfather, her awakening on Prospit, and Sburb.

14. What does she fear? Oh man. Um, losing the people she cares about, obviously. I also think she fears screwing up their session, too, as for a long time she was basically their sole guide. Annnd probably making the wrong decisions now that she doesn't have Prospit to rely on.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? Probably getting off her island and being around her friends. Winning their session, living happily with Bec again~!

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? She strikes me as a bit of a stepford smiler. I think she hides how much things scare her and bother her in an attempt to be strong for her friends. Also, I'm sure she'd rather not let anyone know how difficult growing up on an island alone was.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. She was raised by her father, and grew up believing he was her grandfather. We don't see much of their relationship, but I think it was pretty distant. He probably spent most of his time exploring, and when he was home, he was rather strict and overbearing. Despite this, Jade loved him very much.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Her brother John is awesome and amazing but they didn't grow up together, so their relationship is one of best friends rather than siblings.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? Nope!

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Becquerel! Her dog is practically like a parent, and she loves him a ton.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Her best friends are Rose Lalonde, Dave Strider, and John Egbert. They met online, and she contacted them after receiving a package from future!John and seeing them in her visions. She and John are very alike in a lot of ways, and so click very well. She thinks Dave is hilarious and the coolest kid on the planet, probably looks up to him a bit. Rose is pretty much her foil, and I think they can have difficulty relating sometimes, but they still do get along very well.

6. Does she have other close friends? Some of the trolls are getting there! Karkat is annoying and loud but he's growing on her, and Feferi has only ever been helpful.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She makes friends easily, though she is a bit quirky and odd.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? It's a tie! Though she didn't really grow up with any family. :(

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? n/a

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? n/a

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? None!

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? She's just starting to notice boys, man. :(

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? Nope! I think she wants children. She's super young, though, and that might change.

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Ummm not really! Unless you count Jack Noir but that's kind of cheating and a lame answer.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? A one to a two? She's still young yet, man.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? THIRTEEN.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? CAN WE NOT.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? She's a Sagittarius! The traits that jumped out at me were: Jovial, good-humored, honest, intellectual, blindly optimistic. As for the Chinese Zodiac, canonically she's a dog! A wood dog to be exact (what does that mean). The traits that fit her arrrree: Honest, intelligent, loyal, amicable, sociable, open-minded, idealistic, affectionate, sensitive, easy-going.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? Neither. I don't think they play a big role in her life.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? She's a pacifist through and through, and doesn't like to hurt living things. However, if you do something that pushes her into kicking you (stealing the White Queen's ring, hurting her friends, etc), she will fight. Basically, her morals are that of a typical goody-two-shoes kid.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? She doesn't look down on others, and would most likely try to understand the other person's point of view rather than look down on them. Some things I think she'd find unforgivable (like cold-blooded murder).

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? Jade has no prejudices, man. She loves people.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Rich. Her grandfather probably left her a ton of money, not that there's much to buy on a secluded island.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? She isn't really... A part of society flkjdsaf.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? A giiiiant house on a tropical island. Her island is pretty much her entire world.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Squiddle merchandise, movies, books, plants.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? n/a

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? She loves to learn, to garden, and to watch old cartoons.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Jade probably eats mostly vegetables, fruits and fish, and eats pretty well. Bec would have no less!
