Yeah..I dont like strangers viewing my LJ especially when they think they can IM me and tell me what they "think" they know about me.

Yeah, I understand... U just have to set security level of ur lj. I'm sure u post friends only so I am sure it's fine now.
& some strangers IM u??? haha, must be weird especially when they never met u in person.

haha yeah i agree!! :) There is no way to set the security of my entries especially the old entries but only now have to set the future entries to friends only.
