Thoughts on the most recent Dresden Files book

All hidden behind the cut so I don't ruin it for folks.

OK first off for those of you who didn't know here is the official news from JB himself:

The Book of short stories that comes out in 6 months has a novella called "Aftermath" set 45 minutes after the end of changes, from Murphy's perspective.

There will be 20-22 books, followed by the "Apocalyptic Trilogy"

The title of the next book is "Ghost Story"

On to My speculations (Some of these have been informed/influenced by the discussion in the official forums):
1: Harry will remain the main character of the series. That being said he may well be in a dead/disembodied state for much of the book, but there are several ways for him to come back, even if he actually is dead. A: Archangel resurrection, not too likely given the rules, but possible. B: he was taken to Odin's Halls by a Valkyrie and took food and drink there. except for it happening before death instead of after that is exactly how an Einherjar is made. It is also entirely possible that harry is alive and will be resuscitated once out of the water.

In any of those eventualities Harry will have lost the Mantle of Winter Knight. This may well be the entire reason he was shot.

Theories as to the Shooter: Fix is at the top of my list, as he has said outright that he stood no chance against harry in a fair fight so would have to ambush him, and Mab wasn't all that subtle about letting folks know. Sanya actually is my second guess. The Archangel Uriel strongly hinted that there would be a way to undo the winter knight bit, he could very well have told Sanya to shoot Harry to get the mantle to snap back to Mab, and then go about getting Harry back. I believe that despite the similarity it was NOT Kincaid.

I restate my belief that Thomas will in fact be the one to take up the sword of Love.

There is a decent chance that "Aftermath" will be Murphy taking up the sword in order to find who killed harry, it would be incredibly in keeping with the theme of the sword, being faithful to her friend by finding the killer and bringing him to justice. Also being fired not likely to be such a huge deal, I find it likely that she might be hired by Tilly and the FBI, at least as a private consultant, and quite possibly as Harry's handler.

Any disagreements or other thoughts / Predictions are more than welcome.
