First. Vacation Bible School is a summer program that every Christian church on the face of the Earth does in the summer. This is to promote recruitment. i had an uncomfortable conversation with a good friend about how she doesn't understand how people can honestly think that there's nothing godly out there in the world. and that these people are sorely misguided

being a pretty faithless, spiritual-less, completely out-of-touch person, it was slightly uncomfortable, as i've always been an atheist.

now i'm surrounded by rocks and memories of fucked up experiences with jake and i don't know what to think anymore.

the idea of 'recruitment' is something that kind of freaks my shit out, though.
