[Yagyuu is far from privy to all the sordid details of the blowup that occurred the night before, but he's got enough of the pieces to make an educated guess that something is amiss among their neighbors. Some of it is little things (Hanamura-kun left the house rather late last night, didn't he?), and some of it is larger things (quite a few people followed him out, didn't they?), and some of it is glaringly obvious (really, Kujikawa-san's not even trying to hide her mood, is she?). But while it doesn't add up to a whole picture by any means, it is enough of a tip-off that something is up, and, well, Yagyuu's never one to resist a mystery

[ she's not quite done seething, but when she hesitates and turns to Yagyuu, there's a distinct lack of killing maiming harmful intent in her gaze. She's wondered if their neighbors had heard all the ruckus, and has a feeling they definitely did-- and opts not to bring that up just yet. ]

[Granted, the killing and maiming was one of the first things he'd checked for when she first turned her head, so it comes as a relief that it seems to be absent. Not that he doesn't think he could handle an angry Rise - he has before - but he'll take every advantage he can get here.

The real question is, should he run through the requisite formalities, or just be straightforward and legit about why he just ditched his job to come out here?]
