Writing the whole thing in his dialect was really just a tribute to the book and to Salinger. Plus, I think Holden and I are kind of exactly the same, on the inside, anyway. So writing in his style is just to emphasize that.

The title is from the book. Mr. Antolini said it when Holden showed up at his house in the middle of the night.

We're all lost; some of us are just a little bit closer to home than others.
