That concert was being played live on some cable channel. When I saw the commercial I told Eric that I had a friend at that show and he argued it with me. I'm like, "Look, the ad said LIVE tonight and she said she was going to GWAR tonight. It's happening where she lives. Why is it so hard to believe?"
Me actually being there makes far more sense than this being an elaborate hoax wherein they had dummy cameras at the venue...
It was weird to me because it didn't seem like the best venue for taping, but maybe I have just bought into the hype, assuming "Live in Denver" only happens when it's "Live at Red Rocks" (one of the local venues I've never been to, go figure)
I've never heard of this band before, and it doesn't really sound like something I would enjoy (I'm not a fan of metal), but I'm glad you had a mostly good time. Seeing the blood-spraying devices must have been interesting...
I hope you get to see more concerts this year. :) And that you get more sleep!
