Gossip Girl, Chuck/Blair, "I didn't mean it."
"I didn't mean it," she whispers, against his cheek, drags her lips across the flesh.
He shoves away from her, eyes crazed and hurt all in the same instance.
"You didn't mean it? What does that even mean!" he shouts, shouts in voice of broken man (who killed his mother and father with just his life).
Her face reddens; she worries her bottom lip with teeth. Standing, she goes to smooth down his suit jacket, frowning.
"It means what I say Chuck. Jack did not mean a thing to me, it's always been you," she whispered, fingers clenching tighter to the fabric.
In the movie of her life, this scene would be filled with tearful screams and broken china. In real life, this Chuck (strange and shattered man)takes lies and twists into truth.
Truths because another lie will surely drive him to the edge of madness and he will not glance back before he jumps.
She presses kisses to his cheeks, along his jaw.
Promises herself this will not be the last lie.

Gossip Girl, Dan/Blair, Maps arguments and adventures.
"You're doing it wrong! God, leave it to the idiot to get lost," she exclaimed, shoving his arms out of the way.
The car jerked to the left, causing both of them to let out loud screams.
Gripping her seatbelt tightly, Blair glared at Daniel Humphrey, who merely rolled his eyes.
"Aren't I the one who got accepted into Yale...while you..." he trailed off, jaw tightening.
Giving a loud sigh, Blair stared at the map spread out on the dashboard before them. Her elegant cursive dotted the roads at various points, dwarfed only by Dan's cramped words.
"Can we stop at a rest stop? I have to use the restroom," she explained, pointing forward to the waiting stop.
Shaking his head, Dan began to speed up the small car.
"Last time we stopped, all you did was fix your hair for thirty minutes," he muttered.
Face reddening, Blair reached over for the week, twisting it to the right as hard as possible.
The car screeched to the side, cars honking behind them as the careened into the parking lot. Ignoring Dan's harsh breathing, Blair unbuckled her seatbelt, before sliding out of the car.
Leaning back in, she smiled.
"I'll be right back."

Gossip Girl, Dan/Blair, I'm pretty but I'm not beautiful, I sin but I'm not the devil, I'm good but I'm not an angel. (Marilyn Monroe)
The first moment he sees her sitting in empty hallway by herself, the moment he slides down besides her; Dan knows Blair Waldorf will forever change his life. He knows that she'll change his very impact on the Earth if possible. This is the moment he knows that cold queen feels emotions; jealousy over girl loved more by her own mother.
He tells her he will love her even more.
She only smirks, rolls her eyes and pushes herself to stand.
"Lies make the world go round Humphrey. You've just spun it."
Blair Waldorf is called the devil by all she torments. He knows it’s the truth when she torments herself, finger stuck down throat (until she's really beautiful). He grips her wrists in his hands, yells at her until she sobs and screams.
He tells her she is more beautiful than anyone he's ever seen.
She only laughs, laughs until she's gasping for air.
"Tell me that until I believe you Daniel.
So he tells her over and over, she begs him to stop.
"I won't stop till you know it's the truth," he swears, breathe hot across her neck.
From the moment he saw the real Blair (broken china doll); he wanted to put her back together. Build her up until nothing could tear her down again.
Her hand is warm in his as she smiles at him (a real smile).

Gossip Girl, Chuck/author's choice, "I like to live in an altered state/it makes me love all the things I hate" Altered State by Teddy Thompson
"Haven't you ever stopped to think perhaps I like being a train wreck? Maybe it's easier than bothering with life," she mutters, behind thick glasses used to conceal blood-shot eyes.
She's tall, thin, and gorgeous; everything he likes in a woman. It doesn't help that she's brunette with a snarky attitude.
"And could you move from my sunlight? The neon green is making me sick," she snaps as afterthought, pushing down her glasses.
Standing his ground, Chuck tilted his head to the side slightly.
"Just who would you be? Coked-up models usually are begging me to do anything but move away," he countered.
Glasses thrown to the side, the brunette stood, swaying on her feet.
"God and don't we all know who you are. Chuck Bass, right? Self-righteous bastard who goes through girls like I go through...well coke for example." she sneered, lips curling upwards into smile. "Agnes, ex-partner in Jenny Humphrey designs."
Chuck's eyes widened slightly as he caught the model as she moved forward too much. Nose wrinkling in slight disgust, he held her away from him.
"How much have you had by the way? These are new shoes," he intercepted.
Laughing, Agnes shoved away from him, twirling around quickly.
"Enough to love things I hate, isn't that the reason we all start? Or did you just start for boredom? I bet it, all you rich snobs just get bored. We start for reasons, we like living too drugged up to know our own names," she snarls, falling down onto the park bench with a cruel laugh.
Chuck watched her lips curl upwards once again into heartfelt grin. She leaned back, dress spread about her knees, everything about her yelling model.
She glanced up at him, blue eyes dark.
"When you have something to cry about come find me. I'll be your drug; make you love everything you hate," she whispered, waving him off with a giggle.

Gossip Girl, Blair/Dan, late nights
Night becomes a cruel mistress.
Her hands trace paths down his skin, lips searing secret words into him.
In the night, she's no longer cruel, ruthless queen of the school.
In the confines of her bedroom, she's someone he's never seen. Mask falls to pieces and she laughs loudly, flirts like it's her first attempt.
She looks at him, eyes smolder in candlelight, and she’s always lighting candles.
He thinks it's some weird fetish; he doesn't mind.
Lips meet and it's not enough for him, hands tangle in thick curls. She moans against his mouth and it's just like a dream he supposes.
They fall asleep soon after, his hand's still tangled in her hair.
He dresses quickly, needing to head home for school uniform. Lounging on her bed, Blair lazily pulls on sleeping mask.
"I'll see you tonight Daniel," she murmurs, flopping back down.
Smirking, Dan gives a salute to Dorota as he walks into the elevator.
Night may be a cruel mistress, but she's a crueler mistress in day.

Gossip Girl, Chuck/Dan, the time has come
"And it all ends up happily ever after huh? Princess realizes what a stupid fool she is and comes crawling back?" he questions, a note of unfamiliar desperation to his voice.
Dan would feel sorry for the Bass heir if not for the current situation.
Chuck has his collar in his hands and the sensation of slowly losing air is beginning to get to him.
"Chuck...my stories don't end like that. Usually one of the characters dies. You know the whole 'their time has come thing'," he replies, shoving away from the drunk teen.
It's been all over Gossip Girl, young queen B seen around town with nameless man. Night after night, Chuck arrives at the loft, in worse condition as their meetings continue.
He knows it's wrong, but the writer in him collects each secret that's spewed from soft lips.
"I'd do anything for her...give up other women if she continued to ask," he murmurs angrily. Dan rubs at his neck; thoughts on darkening bruise more than Chuck's whining.
It's when Chuck's lips crash into his own that his thoughts go blank. Back crashes hard into wall, he faintly recalls something falling.
Shutting his eyes, Dan was glad at least this story would have an interesting climax.
