My sister is working and I'm sitting here thinking about cleaning her kitchen for her. She lives with one messy roommate, but she's out lecturing somewhere this week, so Im alone here. I have the door to the balcony open and the birds are talking to me. Tomorrow we are going to see our cousin, Emma, who is a year younger than me and a year older

I think sometimes you don't realise how much you miss a place until you go back - then you realise why you think of it as home! I moved from one place in the UK to another (about 200miles away), and didn't think I missed my hometown until I watched a TV show set there. Listening to the familiar accents was so comforting I nearly cried!

I hope your Rogue goes well, it's such a beautiful sweater - it's on my 'to knit' list for when a few more hours get added to the day...

I think you're right. It's not until now I have realised how much I missed everything when I was gone!
