I was so excited when I saw that they do indeed sell "baked beans" here. Then I got some and realised that they sell British baked beans. Which is beans in tomato sauce. Ew. I want some of my good old southern baked beans, thank you very much.

I have been really skinny, and it was no fun. I have never been so insecure as when I was a size, whatever it is you are when you weigh around 100 lbs. It sucked. I'm done obsessing with food, although it probably helps that my favorite food is vegetables and tofu and pasta in different combinations. I do enjoy my candy and chips though, that's for sure! And I refuse to feel bad about it.

PS. It makes me SO HAPPY to inspire someone!

I can send you my mother's recipe for baked beans.
They are really easy and you make them in a crock pot.
British baked beans are not my favorite food either.

Oh, and you should get a package this week ;-)

There's a funny thing about Sweden, they don't do crockpots. As in they don't exist. I miss mine! But send me the recipe anyway, maybe I can convert it to the stove somehow. And YAY for packages! Please tell me a little about what knitting and stuff you like the most so I can put together a little Swedish package for you!

It's a surprise! But it has the doritos in little snack packs instead of one big bag so you can savour them out over a longer time and they won't go stale.
You don't have to do anything for me, but I would love a pair of knit socks. I am terrible at them and I covet them (I should have sent you the yarn!) I am off to my parents for Easter right now but I will write you a longer letter later!

I am so excited about this package! And I have waaay too much sock yarn, so you don't have to tell me anything. Just let me know your shoe size and be prepared to wait until the end of time, because oh my, I have knitting ADD... or whatever you call it.
