[Those wandering around the village might notice a new face, looking a little disoriented - and definitely a little aggravated the situation.]

[This is not what you expect to see, coming out of the bakery. That's definitely Alex - an Alex from years ago.

Which is cause enough to immediately duck back into the bakery, and watch carefully from one of the windows. At least for now.]

[...?

That's odd... He thought he saw someone leaving the bakery for a moment. Someone who looked kind of familiar, but considering he didn't exactly get a good look, maybe he's just imagining things. But... why did that person suddenly turn back if they were leaving?

There's something strange about this. Maybe a little investigating couldn't hurt...

...Watch out, Mia, it looks like someone's moving toward the bakery.]

[Oh...bother.

There's not much she can do about it, though, being most likely barred from any sort of back entrance. So much for remaining unnoticed.]

[Well, it'll still take him a moment to head over there and take notice of her. But when he does... well, the surprise on his face speaks for itself. She looks way too familiar. And a lot like-]

...Mia?

[She looks too old to be her, yet he can't shake the feeling that it really is her. As if he's seen her like this before, even though that shouldn't be possible. It's... odd.]

[And Piers happens to be walking through the village and sees teen!Alex and at first thinks it is Amiti and is about to greet the boy.

But before he does he realizes the boy's hair is much too long to be Amiti.

But that's strange, the only ones from their world are him, Mia, Amiti, and Alex. Alex isn't that young, right? Of course, they haven't seen each other here so there was always the possibility he comes from further in the past than him and Mia. All the strangeness of times the people of their world have makes that almost make sense.

Or could it be another person from the future who just arrive? Odd, the boy doesn't look all that confused enough to have just arrived though.

So Piers will just go ahead and duck between some buildings and keep an eye on the boy and see if it is Alex or not for now. He's definitely wary but that truly is the only explanation he can think of for now.]

[...Again? He's pretty sure he saw someone suddenly duck into hiding, just like Mia did before. This is starting to seem kind of suspicious to him. And this person - from what he could tell when he briefly saw them, anyway - didn't look like anyone he met, either... even if they did seem a little familiar, strangely enough.

No matter. He'll just... pass by the building and cut a corner for now.

And then wait behind that corner once he does so, because he's admittedly curious if he can get this person to come out. If only to see who it is this time.]

[Piers goes ahead and peeks out to see if the person is gone and seeing no stranger person who looks way too much like Alex around, he's going to come out.

And then will go head into one of the stores to see if he's followed. Looks like he's heading into the grocery store now.]

[...No steps going in his direction. Huh. So much for getting this person to walk past the corner. But he can hear steps, albeit going in another direction - and that's more than enough to at least get him to carefully take a look.

So this person is going to the grocery store now, is he? Well, that's fine. As long as he's not following him...

...Still, something about him seemed a little familiar. It's bothering Alex a bit, admittedly. But tailing him when this person had been doing the exact same thing earlier likely isn't a good idea. So instead of that, for now, he'll simply wait behind the corner until Piers leaves the stores again.]

[And also joining the Mercury Adept creeper bandwagon is Amiti. Who is staring at the possibly new arrival with much confusion. He looks like Alex. But there's no way, right?...maybe it's his son. Maybe it's his little brother or...something.

...yeah, right. Either way, he's ducking behind a building and observing from the corner.]

[...

...

...

What is with people and hiding from him today? This is slowly getting ridiculous.

No matter. He'll just... keep walking for now. Let's just pass by that building over there. Yes. That will do for now. Maybe he can lure this person out somehow - if only to confirm who it was this time. This whole thing is bothering him more than just a little at this point.]

[Amiti will just...stalk him as he passes by that building. Successfully lured out!

...Nobody ever said he was good at hiding.]

[Ah, he hears steps. Looks like that worked, then.

...Hey, is that a corner up ahead? Why yes, it is! Might as well go around that, right? Right. That's what Alex will be doing, at least.]

[Did somebody call for an adoptive parent? Out for a walk, Litchi is not at all surprised to see an aimless-looking (what she supposes is a) New Feather. So here is a friendly smile and a boobie lady person approaching, Alex.]

Well, hello. Are you new around here? [Do you need some ridiculous amounts of food?]

[Why yes, of course~ Finally someone who doesn't just duck and hide upon seeing him. It's a welcome change at this point - especially considering he's in a (mostly) unfamiliar location and all. He doesn't exactly trust a stranger right now, but he'll do his best to mask that.

...He's doing a fairly good job for a teenager, really.]

I suppose you could say that I am. [He'd appreciate it! He hasn't... really eaten anything since "arriving." Not yet, anyway.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, then. My name is Litchi; I work at the clinic here in town.

[Her smile turns a little apologetic.] I know it can be a little hard when you first arrive, but... if there's anything I could do to help you settle in, please don't hesitate to ask.
