Cesare's very good at being honest when there's something to gain from it. :) He's also very good at lying, but has not had any reason to do that with Euphy. He figured out early on that he could coax her in the appropriate direction with honesty and has only been avoiding answering rather than outright lying. Especially with her siblings hovering around he's being careful to not get caught in any trap of his own creation and to cultivate a good relationship with her. Cesare has issues about using people. Euphy is very useful

LMAO it's so clear he's using her for information just by how much he's asking, but Euphy, sob... she's doesn't seem to mind much.
He's so very ... what's the word. Sociable? Engaging? It's neither of those two words but it's the kind of trait you'd find in a good salesman AS BAD AS THAT SOUNDS! You know you have reason to suspect they're just here to sell you a product but they come off like they're you're best friend and before you know it you're buying it all. All she thinks is that they're having a casual conversation while exchanging details of their previous life off camp. She has no idea that any of this is any value to him.
Such is her life. But she's blissfully unaware and will continue to just assume he's her new friend! Compared to everything else she's endured, this is probably not as horrible as some of the other thing she's dealt with. OR DOESN'T REMEMBER.
Kazuki comes off as this confident and animated guy on first impression. He slid up to her and introduced himself first. He radiates a lot more energy than some of the other people she's come across on campus and that's a good thing. Sadly, she couldn't gather much else from that due to the mistletoe EXPLODING, but she will be on the lookout for him just because she's interested in learning more about him!
That and she's probably a little curious about the guy Haruki seems fond of. Also there is that strange fact that he looks like him, too. Gotta find that out. Mysteries, mysteries.
Euphemia isn’t sure what to think of Haruki. She likes him because he appears so extremely easy-going and laid back about everything, but at the same time she’s so lost as to how someone like this can come off aloof towards things like dating. She wonders if this is because he’s lived a very sheltered life, but this is coming from a character that is sheltered herself. She’s honestly surprised that he seems so unfamiliar with how the world works or how to do something as simple as make a friend. He seems so clueless on everything and it's ... aha, sadly adorable. She wants to try and help teach him that he can make friends and that it doesn't require being on a commitment/dating level to do it. That’s just it, really. Euphy just wants to be his friend, really. She thinks he could use one and it might be a step in the right direction for him to make newer ones
