Where I've Been & Why I Haven't Been Around~
Since September (and to some extent even since June), I've been scarce. Even the people I live with had gone days and weeks without seeing me a few times. The reason is because I'm a double agent for the CIA. ... nah, not really. I /wish/ it was something like that, or at least anything less lame than I've just been drowning myself with work. My time just seemed to disappear while juggling around two jobs, especially with one that was a 10pm - 6am shift. For more on my unluck with work, I pretty much explained it all in my last post. Besides work and sleep, I occasionally had time to do something fun and relaxing, but at first most of my free time came about when I was in Midlothian. People wondering why I haven't been online, that's either because I didn't have a computer or because I was on at such crazy hours that everyone else was asleep or at work.
What I'll Be Doing~
In the next two weeks I'll be leaving Whataburger and replacing it with a part time job in Plano. With the holidays coming up it shouldn't be too hard to find seasonal work... hopefully somewhere that I can benefit from the employee discount! <3 I'm going to first shoot for a second job where I won't be working the graveyard shift because it really screws with me, even more so when I have to keep up with another job at the same time. I lose track of days, weeks feel like months, and it's getting harder and harder for me to sleep during the day. ~_~
Nonwork Related Stuff~
Nicole and Jeff are getting married on the 11th, and having a small reception on the 12th. There's going to be Karaoke. ;_; Best reception ever.
Olivia's still getting married, but the date is up in the air still. Maybe June. Maybe December. Maybe next week. Who knows? :D
I finally unpacked my room and it tripled in size. :O It still isn't /clean/, but you can see about 70% of the carpet, so it's a major improvement.
I'm going to start working on a new layout for my website (geesh it's already been a year and a half? o_o;), this time it's going to be about Karaoke Revolution Party. I have a feeling this layout will stay for a long while because it will have pictures of my friends playing the game, which makes it double as a photo album. :D Now, I just got to get my lazy ass to figure out how to use the digital camera...
Oh! If anyone knows anybody that would be interested in japanese manga, I've got a box full I want to get rid of. Bastard!! will be hard to part with, but it's just sitting in a box... a box that I want to get rid of. ._. Other titles I have are Hana Yori Dango, Seimaden and there are a couple of Master of Mosquiton and other miscellaneous titles. I wanted to try and sell them, but at this point I just want to get rid of them. So if you are interested or know someone that is just let me know and you can half them. @_@
NoCon 2 - Electric Boogaloo
Sometime in late February, early March will be the next NoCon. That week there will be another Fatal Frame party, but since Fatal Frame 2 takes a lot longer to beat than the first game, it had to be extended from being a weekend thing to possibly a 4 or 5 day gig. The exact date of NoCon will vary, and it's even likely it may end up being pushed back to Akon, but I'm going to try and do it sooner. For the next couple of weeks, I'll be making updates to my NoCon Site, so just keep that in mind. Also the HQ for the con will be at my house, so that will save a bit more money, and give more room. Videogames, anime and all that whorah will be going on, and if anyone has requests I'm open to them.
And during all those lonely nights where I was on at 4am (or would that be lonely mornings?) and nobody else was online to talk to, I have been keeping myself busy with aLouai's Candybar Doll Maker. <3 <3 Some loves never die ~
I experimented with hair styles and faces, but here are a couple dolls of characters I've played in table top games in the past-
In the game Kinko's hair was light purple but would have been dark brown by realistic terms. Over the course of the story her hair went from long and permed to short and straighter. The dark purple straight hair (it would have been black realistically) is what she looked like when she transformed into her magical girl self.
Resume's hair was lighter than her mother's (Kinko), and started off short and got longer as the story progressed. The one with the long purple hair is her magical form, which except for the golden eyes, is supposed to look identical to Kinko's but to cut back on confusion, their hair is different.
My lj name is the same (Rez-oo-may), because I made it the same week I created her and the name was short, easy to spell and the only thing I wanted to use that wasn't taken. Just fyi.
Osakai's hair was actually longer, straighter and had a bit of a greenish tint to it, but, meh, I worked with what they gave me.
