The guy standing there looks kind of familiar, but it takes a minute to place him. I shift my books to one arm and brush a strand of hair out of my face, thinking he looks a little agitated or something. Then it hits me...he's the nut that punched me for no good reason in the Magic Box that time.
I shift the books again, ready and willing to use them for defensive purposes even if they did cost a couple hundred bucks. "You! I know you!" I say. "Hope you've been away getting some quality psychiatric help. Or maybe in jail for assault?"

"Killed him. Brought myself back, and another like me too!" I stop smiling abruptly. "I mean...you know what it's like," I say through clenched teeth. You're the opposite. And since we are opposites, one...one has to die."
I get in a fighting stance. "Sorry bitch...but it's gonna be you. And Cain will get a little faith in his new job!" I pause, ready to fight.

"So, I'm the opposite of what, exactly?" I ask, fairly curious in spite of starting to get a little pissed off. He's talking some weird mixed up jumble that sounds kind of religious and kind of Star Trek-y, like matter and anti-matter destroying each other. Besides, always a good idea to find out exactly what the bad guys want, even if they aren't playing with a full deck.
