I'm used to, more than anything, being "in love", which, though it hasn't become stale, its something I've come to be used to. Most people would hate that, being used to something like that, but I don't mind it. That night for me, I enjoyed something that I've only really enjoyed recently, and that was hanging out with the boys. As you know, most of the time my friends have been women, but now that I have the band, there are actually guys to hang out with. And that is something, unfortunately, that "love" cannot necessarily replicate -and nor should it try to.
Just as an aside; have you been on a date, or a girls night in a while? Its fun to have excuses to dress up. My guitarist picked up at the singles night, and the girl he met is definitely someone who seems to complement him well.

i dress up on normal days anyhow, taking a cue from my trendy sisters.
i don't think too many guys would have the courage to pay compliments to a girl face-to-face. none of the guys i know for sure. congrats to jeff the banjo-ist for the serendipity of that night! :)
yeah, i love my girlfriends. to bits. i always have fun times & heart times with them.
it's guys whom i don't really have much of a heart to get to know.
