So I was thinking more about mediocrity & what one's "best" is tonight, my thoughts spurred on by Jenny Lam's virtuoso piano performance at her graduating recital which I attended. And I reread my past entry & decided it was incorrect. Or misleading. So I rewrote it.
And I guess it's not a matter of why God would allow this mediocrity to be so

ha ha ha...definately feel the "pounce" ....
thanks for your encouragement about not comparing ourselves, and how God is our standard...got a verse for you:

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose" (Rom 8:28)

I guess that includes our "weaknesses" or "mistakes" as well.

it's impossible not to compare yourself with others. we're only human.
but what's most interesting/important is the steps you take after those emotions of inadequacy take you on.
