I suppose I haven't been fair in my life updates as of late.
I never revealed that I was going to Europe from May 15-31.
Particularly, the cities of Paris, France & Stockholm, Sweden.
Flight from Toronto on the 14th.
Arrive in Paris on the 15th.
Conference: Do You Speak Babylonian?: Studying the life & book of Daniel.
Kind of like a mini-Urbana, targeted to Chinese Christian student leaders from Canada & Europe.
Essentially training on missions &/or for the missions trip. Workshops, testimonies, discussions, worship, prayer.
Flight to Stockholm on the 21st with my 7 other team members.
Supporting ministries of the local Chinese Alliance church there,
including outreach & evangelism. I'm praying that I'll encounter
new friends, fellow students like myself, with similar interests.
Staying in a
hostel.
Flight back to Paris on the 28th.
Doing the tourist thing in the City of Lights for 3 days with Richard, Kevin & Felix.
Flight back to Toronto on the 31st.
I'm so excited for the people I'll be meeting,
the team I'll be sharing & serving with,
the Good News of Jesus Christ I'll be sharing,
the photos I'll be taking (my sister's lending me the SLR!),
the strolls & sights & sounds & tastes & smells & savour.
Still have much to study & research, in terms of the cities & in myself.
There's still uncertainty about exactly why I'm going & why Paris/Stockholm?

Last week, I had a refreshing day downtown, partially spent with
Nina.
I walked from Robarts to West Queen West, all the way to the Gladstone Hotel,
(probably a good 5 hours of walking, wandering & window-shopping)
past AA, past Rotate This, past CAMH, past Camera, in hopes to see
some good photography,
and I thought I'd better take some bathroom shots to prove that I actually walked that whole distance to my target destination.
I have one last Polaroid shot left.
Saving it for a portrait of Rina.
Anyone have any recommendations of a film that will give me super-saturated colour shots?
I'm dying for shots leaking & reeking of colour.
