Personally, I am fond of CHOIRBOY IANTO even if he didn't actually join a choir and it was all just a tease to get me inordinately excited over basically nothing. I was so looking forward to ~spy infiltration~ of a men's choir full of Desperate Housewives-level petty/catty OCs.
May I ask why you specifically eliminated audio-only books and the radio plays? Well, especially the audiobooks; I can see why the plays don't count as books, since they're . . . not books. *g* There's some wonderful stuff in the audiobooks, though, and you had me all excited before I actually read the fine print.
It was arbitrary, óbviously, and I did briefly think about including the audio adventures. The reasons I didn't were 1. that they're a different kind of thing by offering a 2nd layer that comes with the actor's interpretation of voice and pace and tension, 2. I know a lot of people who refuse to listen to audiobooks just because they're audiobooks, 3. while I like the Sin Eaters okay as a book I did want to avoid people listing it just because GDL reads it, 4. they're actually not comparable to the other books because they're shorter and less expansive than the other books. Ultimately I wanted to avoid someone listing three of the audio books and me having to deal with assigning across modalities even though I do think it's sad especially when it comes to "Everyone Says Hello" which I thought Burn Gorman was awesome in and where I enjoyed the story quite a lot

Not gonna lie, you very nearly won me back over with this comment alone. I kind of love you for it.
My disappointment stems mainly from the fact that Everyone Says Hello and In the Shadows are two of my three favorite TW books, and my initial reaction was that I wasn't sure if I could pick two print books to replace them that I would enjoy writing for as much. Now I've had some time to think it over, though, there may be a couple of possibilities, and I really do like the idea for this fic exchange. I may have to reconsider.
Thanks for answering my question so thoroughly, and I do understand your reasoning, especially about the potential complications for you. Whether I sign up or not, I look forward to the fic that comes out of this.
