The Captain was very debonair. It was a case of who was chasing whom. Tintin was so enamored with Haddock that he lost his real goal. Though it was solved in the end. I'm glad that Haddock wasn't too upset with how Tintin deceived him. He's in love!

Sometimes love blinds us. And I love how this turned out in the end. Haddock didn't resent Tintin for being a lad because women actually were never his cup of tea. He prefer men, and after found out that his 'Madame Augustine' was one, he was more shocked than angry.

Aw, this is so sweet and romantic, even if a killer is involved! <3

I really like this. Especially the bit at the end where Tintin brings up a certain amateur detective chasing a certain sea captain. Best confession ever! But he can't chase anymore because that certain sea captain has already captured him. <3

I also like the AU-ish aspect. Tintin makes a perfect detective of course and it makes me so happy to see Haddock as a respected captain.
