Can someone please explain to me why you would send an email like this to someone you are no longer intimately involved with? And, lest you think he’s just trying to gross me out, these types of emails involving bodily functions and things of that nature were par for the course when we were “together”. In fact, these types of comments were

I find that it's important to share your bodily functions with everyone, even those you are moving away from at a steady rate.

It's just common courtesy to keep tabs on everyone's bowel conditions.
