I've been lucky so far and haven't cut myself, but I don't do all that much knife work in pastry. I burn myself frequently. The burns on my inner arms and the chocolate under my fingernails sometimes makes me feel as though I must look like a nasty junky. Wheee!

Yeah when I was in pastry I hardly ever cut myself. Although, there was the time when the 600 pan full of proofing cracker dough fell on my face. That was the worst cut I had to endure doing pasty. The lip of the pan cut into the bridge of my nose.

Oh sugar burns are the WORST. almost as bad as grease. Actually, I'm gonna say sugar is worse because sometimes it adheres itself to your skin :(
