Running the Roads

Last autumn I took part in the “Couch to 5K” running programme at the  local running club - to support my eldest daughter both with her  fitness, and in her battle with anxiety. That's amazing that you and your daughter finished couch to 5k before! Finding exercise that works in quarantine and being motivated to do has been an interesting transition. Glad you have a FB group of supportive people also doing couch to 5k :)

It has made it a bit easier - having a group of people motivating each other to get up, and get out of the house to do it.

I've been thinking about doing C25K again. I have the zombies, run! version, so that's entertaining. The only thing stopping me is that I have to walk my dog a ton as he's very high energy, so I don't like doing that sort of exercise without him. Unfortunately, he's a godawful running companion as he's got one speed, and that's F A S T. Efforts to train him to chill haven't been successful.

Good luck with your current endeavors! Having a group of people to do it with sounds awesome :)

It's kind of turned into a virtual running group - we each run on our own, and then post to the Facebook group with our progress - and encourage each other.
