;___; Yoshinaga Fumi's mangas really deserve better than this sounds, and I agree with the Tachibana and Ono bit because IT MEANS WE WILL NEVER BREAK UP made me cry buckets when I first read it. My heart still twinges whenever I think about that line -- it is my go-to line for the resilience of that untouchable first love, ahhhhhh.
So I cheated and I went to the last episode to see where the anime was going and THE LAST EPISODE IS THE LAST CHAPTER BUT IT HAS TACHIBANA SAYING THE SAND CASTLE LINE
and on the one hand i was like ;____; SAND CASTLES. NEVER BREAKING UP. TACHIBANA/ONO FOREVER FOR REASONS THAT ARE REALLY UNHEALTHY.
