she went to a meditation retreat in which she didn't talk to anyone for 12 days and she kinda went a bit crazy. we have an essay tomorrow about a book we read over break and that we "talked about in class" even though she went on random tangents for a week about human rights. i'm all for civil rights but i want a lesson plan dammit. it took us the entire hour to determine if we were going to have an essay and whether the essay she sprung on us the first day we came back should be revised as an assignment

its mainly her going on a huge tangent. theres some discussion but its mainly her telling us about human rights stuff and she's lecturing the 9th graders about 11 and 12th grade stuff which is weird. she was a lot worse last week but she's slowly coming back to us. i mean when a woman who never curses in class says fuck 5 times and flips off the assistant principal talking on the PA then theres a def change
