I enjoyed this movie quite a bit, but probably not for the reasons that anyone else in the theater did. A side note, before I begin, has to do with the Frozen Fever short that played before the movie. It was... cute. So cute. And so merchandisable. It reminded me of the articles I read about the Sailor Moon manga's plot being timed around

I've been going back and forth on whether to take my 4yo to this movie. She's seen the previews and says that she wants to see it. I've heard that it's not too bad, if a little long for the 4yo attention span.

I think there are parts where she might be bored. The parental death scenes are mostly... ambiguous or off-screen. There's some onscreen crying/grieving that she may find a little unsettling. But other than that, it's pretty harmless. Your other kid might enjoy it, too. :)
