To my friends: Come join me at Crunchy's Monday night at 8:30pm to celebrate my passing (or lament my failing) of my linux plus certification exam. Call for details.
Thanks! I'm getting there, I think, lots of inane command switches and config file locations to memorize.
What do you think of the LPI series? I was thinking about trying to tackle those as my next cert, since I'm pretty sure the first LPI test covers a similar range of material to this one.
I took and passed the LPI level 1 test too. It's harder than the Linux+ IMHO. I ended up buying the first edition of this O'Reilly LPI book and it was a big help. This new version covers the level 2 test which I haven't taken yet, but really should.
Cool. Yeah I hope to get the Level 2 cert in the next year or so. Since my bachelor's isn't in a computing field, I should really have the certifications to back up my skills if I want to compete with other applicants.
