i think about that all the time. and i need to be prepared to be able to make enough money for my husband and i in-case my husband's job won't be enough (ie. doing music). maybe i'm a different case. i feel like i'm more like the guy in the relationship when it comes to finishing school and getting a "real job".
but yea, i've dabbled in business, graphic communications, journalism, art history....and i can't make sense of what i'd rather major in. i guess it doesn't really matter in the long run, as long as you have a degree in SOMETHING. at least, that's what i keep hearing. i've been in college for 1 1/2 years, and i am taking forever but it allows me to have creative outlets (like interning at the radio station, preschool teaching, hanging out with my sister, etc).
you're headed in the right direction. no one said you have to finish school fast.
in this situation: it doesn't matter too much how you run the race, just as long as you finish and you are happy.
finish school. get an internship somewhere that will cater to what you want to do-photograpy. work. work some more. save. save alot. get a masters, or somthing else if you feel you need more education. keep working. keep saving. get married. travel. work more. save more. have kid. work more.
.....eh, take it day by day. but get long term goals and short term goals, set them and acheive them. you can do it chad--you're one cool cat.
