Anyway, couple of bits of software you might find useful for work, studying, writing, or whatever. Both free, both rather cool in their own way.
Evernote is like an infinitely long roll of paper on which you can write, paste, or clip webstuff (direct from IE or Firefox). Retrieve or organise the stuff by time/date, by content type, or by tags. No nags or spies, just a polite reminder about the paid version once a month or so.
TiddlyWiki is a fiendishly clever wiki contained within a single HTML file. Best to play with it to get an idea what it can do. There's a few others based on it; I've found this one particularly useful.
