My computer broke down the other day while I was working on the finishing touches of the leechpit poster. Luckily, I still had this one that I'm using now. I do feel pretty lucky to have it because I nearly got rid of it last month, but decided it might be good to keep around. I figured it was just gonna take up space, but it's keeping me online

i hope you get both one of the jobs and an illustration assignment. you could put a few things in a sort of "clip book" of published work and show it off.

and there's no shame in local newsweeklies. they seem to have reporters and stories that have ten times more balls than the national magazines and papers.

I always feel like such a bullshit artist at job interviews...

No shit dude, an educated, professional artist feels slightly shit when interviewing for a library job?

"Hi Rev, take a seat here, we just have some questions to ask you. Now, you studied at art school, is that right? Could you perhaps.. arbitrarily apply those skills to this job for us, you know, like the whole point of your life in the last five years has been leading up to taking this job?"
