read it, leading a LIFE (small) group studying it, my pastor's preaching a sermon series on it...fun stuff.

Do commentary/theory type books often refer to God as Abba when talking about Jesus? Which is to say, use the original Hebrew word for Father. Which I assume you know, but having a little Hebrew background, it caught my eye.

Some Christian theologians use the term Abba when speaking of Jesus' relationship to God - the Father-Son relationship. Since Jesus is God is makes things a little less confusing, but its not particularly common among scholarship.
