The best part of the Transformers sequel was more screen time for Transformers especially the Decepticons. Starscream has some great lines in the new movie and of course Soundwave is just awesome.

I have my doubts about the new movie, but I'm sure I'll see it eventually. If it wasn't for nostalgia, I think I probably would've hated the first one.

I lack the nostalgia (I never had the toys or watched the cartoon), and I hated the first movie. So, yeah, you are probably right. ;)

BTW, did you see the remake of "The Touch" for the new movie? The video is horrifyingly bad. I wish I had a more PC term for "super gay", because I need it to describe this video:

Apparently. It's even Stan Bush, but they decided to add more melodrama and some rap. Plus, he apparently hasn't made a video since the 80s and doesn't realize that the medium has changed. Either that, or he's only seen Journey videos.
