That's so funny, because our local paper asked this exact same question yesterday when this moron got busted for cocaine and marijuana possession. He was leaving a known drug-buying area, in a car filled with drugs, with numerous problems with the car (broken tail light, etc.).

I don't expect the same from a drug addict because, well, they are on drugs. But we should expect more from top 10 fugitives.

I think the lesson here is that car care is important if you're planning to lead a criminal lifestyle.
