Thin Red Line was $10 and three hours whose loss I will mourn dearly. (It didn't help that I saw it soon after seeing "Saving Private Ryan", and it just paled in comparison.)

This was my second attempt to watch it, I wanted to see if I missed something the last time around. So, yea, I want my six hours back but at least I am not out any money as the DVD was a gift.

170 minutes! The guy didn't even have the guts to actually break the three hour mark on his final edit.

It came in a box set with Patton, Tora! Tora! Tora!, and The Longest Day (you know, good movies). That was probably so they could get all of the copies of The Thin Red Line out of the warehouse.
