Well, actually, it was a product of my slightly twisted sense of humor as a public information officer. I looked up the format for other Army press releases on the CentCom site. Guess I nailed it...

You should have seen some of the fake news articles I used to write with my friend Anthony a few years back. Some funny shit.

ya got me hehe...I was trying to figure how even a spoof news group woulda caught wind of the "sunflower salvo" episode...man, we're being run by a bunch of fucktards (my conjunctive noun for fucking retards (not that I have anything against real tards)).
