Liverpool Calling

Walking the full night streets and hills of Liverpool last night provided some perspective and some consolation. This morning a similar walk was refreshing. Welcome cloud cover and cool breezes, breaking sunlight and broken facades, and an absenteeism to counterpart last nights revelry. Oh, speaking of...

During my last meandering, i passed many points of interest for our next Bums Acrosst Amurka: Carl Sandburg's birthplace in SC (i think), Edgar Allen Poe places, and a house that Lloyd Wright designed in... VA i think...

Strickland thinks he writes crappy poetry.
Actually he writes pretty fair.
Occasionally he is known to spit out quite a gem.

Meant to say something sooner bout that one. Great stuff. Dig the tiny bit of rhymin' timin' couplets, or whatever.
Though this martini one's pretty good too.

thanks for the encouragement...and it is crappy poetry, at least after it hits paper. Everything sounds good in my head.
Confession: this is one of my current favorites, 'tween it and the terrer two parter I think i got some juice to sell.
