that's incredible that you are helping with the OLPC project. So what aspect are you helping with and when do you get your prototype model?

Hey Jon! I already have my OLPC B2 model... It's really awesome! I can't wait to see you and show some things to you... It is all readable online really, but some of it is best illustrated by seeing it. I am working with the Etoys/squeak folks... Did you know the OLPC comes with Squeak, like shipped bilt-in? Which rules! I'm working on using the second-mode of the touchpad for handwriting recognition, at least right now.

You certainly didn't mention that you're working on the OLPC project. I think that'd be a really cool thing to get involved with. :)

Btw, as far as using the internet to muck about compared to using it for study goes....well...lets just say that my signal to noise ratio is quite bad....:P
