getting ready in the mornings

Jul 07, 2007 00:30

Hey kids, quick question- how long does it take you to get ready in the mornings? Like on a day you're going off to work. What do you consider extra short or extra long morning prep times? Any and all replies are much appreciated.

15 minutes if I'm late and need to pack a lunch, 10 mintues if I just run out the door sans lunch. Normally I take about half an hour from when I'm awake to when i walk out of the door.

I wake up at 7, I'm out of bed by 7:30 (slow), then I get ready, eat, etc. by 8:30 when I have to leave. I consider this sort of slow but I like it.

wake up, pet cats, get dressed, make-up, teeth, deodorant, shove in breakfast, get shoes on, feed cats, collect purse lunch and ipod, lock the door.

10-15 min. 20 max if I lay in bed to long, then I took the late train.

Up at 20 after, out the door by 10 till. So, a half hour? That's on the days that I'm riding my bicycle - it requires more prep time. 20 minutes if I'm driving.

45 minutes to an hour to get ready for work. That includes shower, hair drying and make up. The hair drying part is what takes the longest because i have a system. The hair has to air dry for about 10 minutes and then i blowdry it the rest of the way. If i don't do that, it looks funky.
