According to the BBC report, it was a 5.7 earthquake. So yes, I'd say a fairly strong one. ^^;; Glad to hear all's well.

Funny, I wonder if I was too far away to feel anything. Probably, I paying attention to something very closely at the time. still, I would think I might have felt it a tiny bit.

I didn't think it lasted more than like 10 seconds at the most, which is still pretty long I'd say... most of them are just the floor shaking a little for a few seconds... you get used to it.
