So, it was really raining today. I got quite wet while out, despite having an umbrella. (See aside on my umbrellas) Apparently there's a typhoon about here... sure enough, looking at the radar it looks like the typhoon is right on top of us. I've never had a problem with the umbrella racks at stores and such (interestingly, the Tokyo Mitsubishi bank near me has locks you can use on theirs though) but this is the one inside the locked front door of the apartment/dorm/whatever you want to call it where I live, so only the other foreign students living here have access to it.
