Thankfully, the ball passed without incident. I did no more besides the obligatory socializing, and I managed to find some of the conversing to be quite... "interesting."
I seem to have become a bit careless lately. Shamefully, I have been underestimating the intellect of others around me. Nothing serious, but it still is enough to become slightly disappointed with myself. I'm afraid I've let myself become a bit too overconfident... This will certainly be fixed immediately.
